After standing on top of the podium at the last Youth and Junior World Championships, Eric Gutierrez now prepares for an important new chapter in his career — his Senior debut at the Cantanhede World Cup 2026.

In previous interviews, Eric has mentioned that one of his biggest inspirations was Miquel Mane, a multi-time World Championship medalist and one of Spain’s most respected athletes. Years later, the young Spanish talent will now find himself competing side by side with his idol in one of the most competitive events in aerobic gymnastics — the Men’s Individual. 🤸‍♂️🔥

Born in 2008, Eric arrives in Portugal with an ambitious program, competing in Individual Men, Mixed Pair, and Trio, demonstrating both versatility and the confidence placed in him by the Spanish team.

Now stepping into the senior category, Eric aims to establish himself as another key name within the Spanish national team. The road to the World Championships in Pamplona — the most important event of the season — is still long, and the coaching staff will use the upcoming World Cup stages to evaluate performances before selecting the three athletes who will represent Spain on home soil.

Cantanhede may mark the beginning of a new chapter for one of Spain’s most promising gymnasts. 🇪🇸🌟🤸‍♂️
