With less than one month remaining until the start of competition, World Gymnastics has officially released the nominative registrations for the 2nd Aerobic Gymnastics Junior World Championships and the 12th Aerobic Gymnastics Youth World Championships, scheduled to take place in Pamplona, Spain, from 4–6 September 2026. The registrations provide the first complete overview of what promises to be one of the largest Youth and Junior Aerobic Gymnastics events ever organized.
According to the official registrations, 637 athletes from 42 national federations are expected to compete in Pamplona, highlighting the continued international growth of Aerobic Gymnastics and the increasing depth of talent across the Youth and Junior categories.
The championships will feature a total of 422 competition entries, divided between 185 entries in the Youth competition, representing 30 federations, and 237 entries in the Junior competition, representing 36 federations. The numbers underline the scale of the event and set the stage for three days of intense competition across all official disciplines.
Athletes will compete in Individual Men, Individual Women, Mixed Pairs, Trios, Groups, Aerobic Dance, and Aerobic Step, with Aerobic Step contested exclusively in the Junior World Championships. Many gymnasts are entered in multiple disciplines, making versatility a key factor throughout the competition and adding further depth to an already highly competitive field.
The release of the nominative registrations marks the beginning of the final preparation phase for all participating delegations.
