Spain, Argentina Lead the Way as Definitive Entries Confirmed for Pamplona 2026

The definitive registrations for the 19th Aerobic Gymnastics World Championships, scheduled for 11–13 September 2026 in Pamplona, have been released, confirming a highly competitive field featuring 38 nations from around the world.


Among all participating countries, only three federations will compete with the maximum possible number of 13 competition units: host nation Spain, Argentina, and Russia. Their entries span every category of the World Championships, including Individual Men, Individual Women, Mixed Pair, Trio, Group, Step, and Dance, highlighting the depth and versatility of their national programs.


As the host country, Spain enters the championship with one of its strongest teams in recent years. Competing on home soil, the Spanish delegation will have the opportunity to challenge for medals across all disciplines while benefiting from the support of local fans in Pamplona. With a full roster of athletes, Spain aims to capitalize on home advantage in what promises to be one of the most competitive editions of the World Championships.


Argentina also arrives with maximum representation, underlining the remarkable growth of its aerobic gymnastics program. The South American nation has consistently expanded its presence on the international stage over the past decade, and its complete lineup demonstrates both competitive ambition and increasing depth across every event.


Alongside Spain and Argentina, Russia is the third nation to register the maximum of 13 competition units, reinforcing its long-standing tradition as one of the world's leading powers in Aerobic Gymnastics.


The championship will feature 260 competition units, with the Women's Individual event standing out as the largest category. A total of 80 routines from 34 different countries will compete for the world title, making it the most diverse and competitive discipline of the tournament.


With record participation in several events and the host nation fielding a full-strength delegation, the stage is set for an exciting World Championships in Pamplona, where every medal race is expected to be fiercely contested.
