The definitive registrations for the FIG Suzuki World Cup 2026 are officially in, confirming that 21 countries and a total of 97 routines will take the floor in Tokyo from April 18 to 19, 2026, marking one of the strongest line-ups in recent years.

For exactly 15 years, Thais Fernandez has been one of the leading names in the Women’s Individual category of the Peruvian National Aerobic Gymnastics Team 🇵🇪✨

She made her international debut back in 2010, still competing in the Youth category. Since then, the growth of Aerobic Gymnastics in Peru has moved at the same pace as her own technical evolution 📈. As Thais refined her execution, artistry, and competitive maturity, Aerobic Gymnastics in Peru evolved alongside her. The discipline gained stronger structure and visibility nationwide, and new clubs also emerged across the country 🤸‍♀️. Together with the growth of existing programs, they elevated the national technical level and contributed to significant international results for Peru on the global stage 🌎🏆

Throughout this journey, Thais stood out as one of the main representatives of Jumping Jack Club — founded in 2013 by Natalia Balarezo — becoming one of its leading athletes and a key figure in its competitive success at both national and international levels ⭐️

After 15 consecutive years competing in the Women’s Individual event — and after winning numerous titles throughout her career 🥇 — Thais announced at the end of 2025 that she will no longer compete in the individual category. From now on, she will dedicate herself exclusively to representing Peru in the Trio and Group events 🤝, embracing a collective challenge with the same ambition and excellence that defined her individual journey.

Her goal is clear: to help guide the Peruvian team, alongside her teammates, toward the World Championships in Pamplona this September 🎯🔥

The year was 2022 when Anastasiia Kurashvili @kurashviliiii 🇺🇦claimed her first Individual Senior World title 🥇, performing to “You Don’t Even Know Me”. That routine didn’t just win gold — it defined an identity.

From 2023 to 2025, Anastasiia stayed true to that musical style, refining her artistic language and competitive presence while consistently placing among the top athletes in the world at the sport’s biggest events. Familiar sound. Absolute control. Proven results.

But 2️⃣0️⃣2️⃣6️⃣ marks a turning point.

This season, Anastasiia has chosen to move beyond the musical path that shaped her recent years and is already building a routine with a new style and a refreshed artistic approach. At this level, change is a conscious step — one that reflects growth, curiosity, and evolution.
